Given that we work 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, and even when we’re not working, we’re thinking about the patients that we’ve cared for that day, it may seem crazy that we’re inspiring others to follow the same route! However, we believe that working within our progression is the best job ever and it’s fantastic to see so many young school and college students taking such an interest in the work we do.

We support local schools and colleges, encouraging students to understand that there is no such thing a silly question – even our qualified staff learn something new every day. The safety of our students is our prime concern when attending the practice. We therefore always meet them before commencing their placement to discuss their training and all the associated risks involved.

The administration involved can be time consuming and we are inspected by the local colleges before they send their students to us. Not all practices accept student placements but Arun Veterinary Group firmly believe in ‘giving something back’.  We continue to pledge our support to students as much as we can to inspire and help them to achieve their goal of following in our footsteps one day.
