South Downs Emergency Vets is run as an independent, stand-alone service based within our refurbished Arun Veterinary Group Hospitals in Storrington and Chichester. The hospitals have been designed to deliver emergency and out-of-hours care to your pet when the team takes over at night, weekends and banks holidays.
South Downs Emergency Vets is a sister company to Arun Veterinary Group and enables us to ensure our dedication to you and your pet is constant – day or night our welcoming and reassuring team are always on hand to help. We take great pride in running our own, on-site emergency service with the vet and nurse teams working 24/7 to ensure a friendly face always sees you promptly during what can be a very stressful time.
Just like us, our pets can suffer from illness or injury at unpredictable times which will require emergency or out of hours care. During these anxious moments, pet owners need a highly skilled veterinary team and state of the art facilities. The team that work for South Downs Emergency Vets are committed veterinary surgeons and nurses with advanced training and decades of combined experience in veterinary emergency and critical care. They’re fresh, alert and well-informed of your practice’s treatment strategy for your pet.
If you need us in an emergency during surgery hours please telephone the practice immediately and we will ensure that you are offered an appointment on a priority basis. Please make it clear that the matter is not routine and we will do our utmost to attend to you at the earliest opportunity.
During the evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays we can be contacted on any of the practice contact numbers.
Our telephone advice is always complimentary but please be aware that additional fees will apply for emergency consultations and home visits when this is deemed necessary.
